Dan grew up in Wyoming and his family moved south to Las Vegas in 1962, seeking among other things, a warmer climate.  He attended 5th Street School, now a historical landmark and later entered Gorman High School.  Dan graduated from UNLV 1977 with a degree in Accounting.  Due to a persuasive recruiter, he entered the insurance industry after graduation and has never looked back.  Dan has attained numerous professional and community achievements.  He and his wife Jane have 2 sons, Mark and John.  Mark graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX.  He currently teaches high school math in San Antonio.  John currently attends the University of Nevada, Reno.

Lisa Welch is the Executive Assistant to Daniel Russell and Life Insurance Case Manager. She is originally from South Texas and graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio. She moved to Las Vegas in summer of 2003. She is married and has a son who is an Army Ranger, and a daughter who is in high school. Lisa and her family spend much of their free time during the year supporting their daughter's soccer team and attending her soccer league and basketball games.

Bryan manages the Group Insurance and Employee Benefits Department at Russell Financial Services.
Bryan, a native of Las Vegas, earned a B.S. degree in finance from the University of Southern California.  His experience as both a manager and owner of businesses allows him to understand and share the goals of Russell’s commercial clients.  In a rapidly changing healthcare environment coupled with economic uncertainty, this type of insight and forward-thinking is a priority to our clients. 
With deep roots in the Las Vegas community, Bryan is active in several professional and philanthropic organizations.  “We understand our clients desire to provide the best healthcare options for their employees while remaining fiscally responsible to their businesses.  Our role is to provide the best possible advice and product design to enable our clients to accomplish these goals.”

Vanessa Dalkhaa is one of our firm's group Client Service Representatives.  She moved to Las Vegas in 2000 and is from Southern California. Vanessa is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and served two years as an English Teacher Trainer in Mongolia. Vanessa enjoys traveling abroad and watching foreign films when she finds the opportunity. Vanessa is married and has a beautiful baby girl.

Christina Plourde is our firm's group Client Service Representative. She is considered a Las Vegas native, even though she was born in Michigan, as she has lived here since she was 6 months old. Christina entered the insurance field in 2004, when she started as a member services representative at HPN. She was recruited over to Russell Financial Services in December of 2007. In the company of her husband and three children,Christina likes to spend her leisure time hiking, camping, and participating in historical events, such as the Renaissance Faire. She also likes to attend theatrical and musical events.

Steve Crawford is the firm's Controller and Case Designer. Steve has been with Russell Financial Services for 17 years.  He moved to Las Vegas in 1962 from New Mexico.  He graduated from UNLV in 1982 with Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  He is married and has two children, Joe and Mary.  Steve enjoys fishing and bike riding.
